Event 1 –Project preparatory meeting

Participation: The event involved 12 citizens, including 2 participants from the city of Gijon (Spain), 2. participants from the city of Drobeta Turnu Severin (Romania), 2 participants from the city of Balestrate (Italy), 2 participants from the city of Lisbon (Portugal), 2 participants from the city of Karlovo (Bulgaria), 2 participants from the city of Donji Milanovac (Serbia).

Location / Dates: The event took place in Madrid, Spain, from  28/01/2017  to 30/01/2017
Short description:  Between January 28th-30th 2017 in Madrid –Spain took place European Preparatory meeting, an event attended by 2 representatives from each partner organization. During this meeting we discussed about organization of project events, promotional and visibility material creation, final products realization, proper financial resources allocation to each stage of the project and the evaluation methods to be used. The aim of this event was to fine tune all aspects of the project and assure proper allocation of resources to planed activities.

Event 2-Promotional materials realisation


Participation: The event involved .60 citizens, including 10 participants from the city of Drobeta Turnu Severin (Romania), 10 participants from the city of Balestrate (Italy), 10 participants from the city of Lisbon (Portugal) , 10 participants from the city of Karlovo (Bulgaria) , 10 participants from the city of Donji Milanovac  (Serbia) and 10 participants from the city of Gijon (Spain).

Location / Dates: The event took place jointly in  Drobeta Turnu Severin (Romania), Balestrate (Italy), Lisbon (Portugal), Karlovo (Bulgaria), Donji Milanovac  (Serbia), Gijon (Spain),   from  25/01/2017  to 28/02/2017
Short description:  The aim of the event was to create the graphics and content for promotional materials of the project. Through online communication (skype meetings between the operational team) and joint efforts developed and printed promotional and visibility materials for the project: posters, flyers, banners, t-shrts, personalised folders, etc. All these materials were shipped to all project partners and used during local activities.

Event 3- Quantitative & qualitative research in each partner country
Participation: The event involved  1800  citizens, including  300.  participants from the city of Drobeta Turnu Severin (Romania), 300 participants from the city of Balestrate (Italy) , 300 participants from the city of Lisbon (Portugal) , 300 participants from the city of Karlovo (Bulgaria) , 300 participants from the city of Donji Milanovac  (Serbia) and 300 participants from the city of Gijon (Spain),

Short description:  The aim of the event was to provide useful data in the area of immigrants civil rights in all participating countries. A set of 25 questions was developed on the topic immigrant’s civil rights and a google questionnaire was developed and published as a tool to collect immigrant’s responses. 1805 questionnaires were filled with responses and a specialized company interpreted and realized a summary report.

Event 4 - Anti-discrimination training course
Participation: The event involved  25 citizens, including  5  participants from the city of Drobeta Turnu Severin (Romania), 4 participants from the city of Balestrate (Italy) , 4 participants from the city of Lisbon (Portugal) , 4 participants from the city of Karlovo (Bulgaria) , 4 participants from the city of Donji Milanovac  (Serbia) and 4 participants from the city of Gijon (Spain)

Location / Dates: The event took place in Dubova, Romania, from  30/05/2017  to 04/06/2017
Short description:  The aim of the event was to spread information about anti-discrimination practices in 5 areas of civil rights: education, labor, housing, health, goods and services. 25 participants, during 5 days had the chance to meet, learn and share experiences in the field of migrant’s inclusion and human rights protection.

Event 5 - Local workshops in all partner countries


Participation: The event involved 300 citizens, including 50 participants from the city of Drobeta Turnu Severin (Romania), 50 participants from the city of Balestrate (Italy), 50 participants from the city of Lisbon (Portugal), 50 participants from the city of Karlovo (Bulgaria), 50 participants from the city of Donji Milanovac (Serbia) and 50 participants from the city of Gijon (Spain).

Location / Dates: The event took place jointly in Drobeta Turnu Severin (Romania), Balestrate (Italy), Lisbon (Portugal), Karlovo (Bulgaria), Donji Milanovac (Serbia), Gijon (Spain), from 01/07/2017  to 30/09/2017

Short description:  From July 2017 each partner organization organized local workshops at local in order to spread knowledge gained during previous TC. These workshops were held by participants in TC with support from partner organizations and will be attended by representatives of local NGO`s, public authorities, specialists working with immigrants a local/national level. The topics of the workshops: human rights protection, antidiscrimination practices, etc. A total of 300 participants attended this events.

Event 6 –Study visit in Italy


Participation: The event involved 26 citizens, including 2 participants from the city of Drobeta Turnu Severin (Romania), 16 participants from the city of Balestrate (Italy), 2 participants from the city of Lisbon (Portugal), 2 participants from the city of Karlovo (Bulgaria), 2 participants from the city of Donji Milanovac (Serbia) and 2 participants from the city of Gijon (Spain)

Location / Dates: The event took place in Balestrate (Italy), from 19/08/2017 to 22/08/2017


Short description:  Between august 19th-22th 2017 representatives from each partner organization took part in a study visit in Balestrate-Italy in order to share and analyze best practices in the field of immigrant’s protection in Italy. We visit an immigrants center, meet specialists and analyzed how Italian government face the problem of immigrants, how their civil rights are respected and what are best practices in the field of antidiscrimination. 26 participants from consortium and local Italian government were involved in this meeting.

Event 7- Local & national  anti-discrimination public campaigns


Participation: The event involved 3000 citizens, including 500 participants from the city of Drobeta Turnu Severin (Romania), 500 participants from the city of Balestrate (Italy), 500 participants from the city of Lisbon (Portugal), 500 participants from the city of Karlovo (Bulgaria), 500 participants from the city of Donji Milanovac (Serbia) and 500 participants from the city of Gijon (Spain)

Location / Dates: The event took place jointly in Drobeta Turnu Severin (Romania), Balestrate (Italy), Lisbon (Portugal), Karlovo (Bulgaria), Donji Milanovac (Serbia), Gijon (Spain), from 15/09/2017 to 15/11/2017

Short description:  In all 6 partner countries, local information events were organized between September and November 2017, in order to raise citizen’s awareness about immigrant’s civil rights and to promote a favorable view about the foreigners. Each partner will have organized it its own way (local meetings with fellow CSO`s, debates on topics related to immigrant’s rights, street activities, informational materials distribution). More than 3200 participants were involved.

Event 8- Evaluation meeting


Participation: The event involved 26 citizens, including 2 participants from the city of Drobeta Turnu Severin (Romania), 2 participants from the city of Balestrate (Italy), 16 participants from the city of Lisbon (Portugal), 2 participants from the city of Karlovo (Bulgaria), 2 participants from the city of Donji Milanovac (Serbia) and 2 participants from the city of Gijon (Spain)

Location / Dates: The event took place in Lisbon, Portugal, from  23/11/2017  to 26/11/2017
Short description:  Between November 23th-26th in Lisbon, Portugal took place project evaluation meeting attended by 26 participants (2 from each partner organization plus local representatives of Portuguese NGOs). All together we evaluate the success of the project. New projects were planned in order to use the network already created.
